Spice up your life with this Limited release Spice Trade Gin

Australia and India have come together and it’s not on the cricket pitch! Four Pillars have hit-a-six with their new Indian-fusion Spice Trade Gin. A “spice bazaar in a bottle”, the result is a big, bold, spicy gin that balances bright Indian botanicals and favourite Aussie natives.

Bold, aromatic and colourful, Four Pillars Spice Trade Gin is inspired by modern Indian flavours (thanks to a dream collaboration with Stranger & Sons).

Deliciously fragrant, it tastes best in a cocktail. We reckon you should start with the perfect Spice Trade G&T –a squeeze of lime and pinch of salt really does it here, drawing out the spice and pushing the drink in a savoury direction. And then give a Pegu Club a go. The classic cocktail from 1920s Burma has been waiting all this time for a gin like this. See the recipes below.

While we’re at it, might as well mention our suggestions for the bonus Gin Botanical Curry Powder going with all sales of the Four Pillars gin (at least until they run out). Their milder twist on traditional Goan curry powder utilises botanicals from the distillation process along with gin salt. It’s delicious in his recipes (prawn curry is a WINNER) and we tested it out in chicken salad and it’s delicious.
