THE COIN ART
The company’s emblem, the ‘Lady Fortune’, was illustrated by hand in the scratch-board method by legendary American illustrator Steven Noble. The same illustrator who created many iconic American brand images such as the American Express “Centurion” logo and the Coors “Rocky Mountains”. This award winning illustration was made into a collector grade solid brass coin, that is pressed into the glass of each bottle sold. Each coin is minted, one-by-one at America’s oldest private mint, operating since 1835.
THE WHISKEY
GOLD BAR ® is a refined, exceptionally smooth blended American whiskey. At 80 proof (40% alc./vol) it is light bodied, subtly sweet and finishing with a touch of heat and lingering notes of fruit and spice. Mash bill: 88% corn, 9% rye, 3% barley. Versatile and delicious, can easily be served neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail. Given its approachability, this is a great spirit for the whiskey aficionado or the non-whiskey drinker who will be attracted to the premium and unique package. Often compared to the perfect mix between a light Japanese whiskey and a smooth Irish whiskey.
TASTING NOTES
APPEARANCE: Clean and clear, golden amber, beeswax / honey.
AROMA: Herbaceous with spicy notes of clove and cardamom. Slightly sweet, with notes of vanilla, rye, honey and apple.
PALATE: Starts with spice and apples with fresh citrus balanced off with honey. Light-bodied and gentle.
FINISH: Smooth and balanced with no roughness or bitterness.

GOLD RUSH
2 oz GOLD BAR ®
3/4 oz freshly squeezed juice from 1 lemon
3/4 oz honey syrup
Combine ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Pour into a rocks
glass over ice. Garnish with fresh mint.
GOLD FASHIONED
2 oz GOLD BAR ®
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 sugar cube
Add sugar cube in shaker with bitters and muddle. Shake on ice and strain into coupe.
Garnish with orange peel.
CLASSIC HIGH BALL
2 oz. GOLD BAR ®
2-4 oz. soda water or ginger ale
Pour GOLD BAR ® into ice-filled Collins glass. Top with soda. Garnish with lime.
